Terms of service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Who we are

HomeAnchor provides a subscription VPN that routes your connection through a residential line in your chosen home city. These terms form the agreement between you and HomeAnchor when you create an account or buy a plan. The operating legal entity and its registration details will be listed here once registered.

2. The service

We give you one or more OpenVPN configuration files for the cities included in your plan, gated to your subscription. Availability depends on residential lines we operate; we aim for high uptime and publish live edge status, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Your plan covers a set number of devices.

3. Acceptable use

HomeAnchor is for reaching your own accounts and services from your home location. You must not use it for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, or to circumvent rules set by a third party (such as an employer's device policies). We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the service or other customers. Report abuse to [email protected].

4. Payment and renewal

Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Longer-term plans (30 days and over) renew automatically at the end of each term until you cancel; short trip plans (10 and 20 days) are one-time purchases and do not renew. Payment is processed by Stripe.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the term you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because access to your VPN configuration begins immediately after purchase, by starting to use the service within that period you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge you may lose the automatic right of withdrawal for the portion already used. If something goes wrong on our side and you could not use the service, contact us at [email protected] and we will put it right or refund you.

7. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. This section will be finalised on legal review.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date and, for active subscribers, notified by email. Questions? Email [email protected].
